About Me
You know you're going to give your kid a complex if you call them "The Mean Bean" instead of; sweetiepie, sugar face, bear, etc. My nickname stuck- even when I got nicer. AND my affinity for all things BEAN happens to be tremendous; Coffee beans (my coffee feign), Cocoa beans, Vanilla beans, chickpeas (yes, it's a bean), black beans....and so on. As for the "mean" part, depends on which ex-boyfriend you ask. I think I'm super sugary. And no, I will not be writing any guides about beans. Unless I get a special request.

I'm a little embarrassed to say that I haven't always been the VISION of "perfect" child when it comes to celebrating Mother's Day. If anything,it's a holiday that can tend to get overlooked. So this year, my Mother and I are going to spend the day vegging out, drinking mimosa's, snacking on treats and bonding over some Mother/Child type of movies. Even though our Mother's often get overlooked, these filmmakers made the Mother's the STARS:

The whole Susan Boyle phenomenon is an enigma to me. Is anyone else as baffled as I? Let's just say the likeliness of Susan lasting to minute 16 is a small one. It's about as likely as James Frey recovering any other title than, "that poor man Oprah bludgeoned on national television." Luckily, when Susan gets back to normal life, she'll have entire alumni of 15 minute Alumni to share a cup of tea with.

Shopping can be a daunting task and often one people avoid because it isn't easy. WELL NOW, throw out those highwadders from 1996, hop online and order something to be delivered right to your door. It really is simple, but where do you start???? Here are some of the best online shopping sites I've found and now, I'm addicted. So where are your favorite o...

Sadly, it happens to those that are in the spotlight- it happens to everyone. In fact, I was just leaning down to grab a Ritz Crackers and BAM, there's my boob. Good thing no one was around to see it, but if there were a million photographers huddled in front of me- they would have gotten more than they bargained for. Here are some famous nip slips, crack slips, and beyond.

Being that I am an artist (no, I don't actually PAINT- not well anyway, but I do mutiple artistic things) I'm always on the hunt for a great city to live in that I feel will lend itself to my artistic abilities. Having lived in both Los Angeles and New York City, I know that sometimes the cities with the most opportunities are also the LEAST cost friendly. You have to be able to balance making a decent living while also pursuing your art form- so after some research, here is what I've found!

I don't know what it is, but the producers of TV shows know that us viewers LOVE to HATE the people that we're watching. It's a disgusting cycle really. They pick people to put on television that they know are loathsome human beings and then right when we're bored with hating them, they pick a new personality for us to throw things at. Sometimes you just can't help but watch. Who's your LEAST favorite TV personality??

Just the two words SPRING BREAK bring up visions of bikinis, MTV, beaches and entirely too much liquor. The unfortunate part is that once you get out of highschool or college, you usually don't get the perks of taking a week off of work to party it up. Spring Break represents youth, freedom, random one night stands with some guy named.....wait, what was his name?? Even if you don't have the ability to flee to Mexico, you can still take some Spring Break ingredients shake them up in a mixe...

Oh yeah, that's right- I'm in a POOR relationship, WEALTHY in love and smooches and all that good stuff, but very, very, poor. We're musicians and writers, I mean come on. The thing is, we'd really like to continue functioning like NORMAL human beings, so we have to get creative. Being in a relationship doesn't have to break the bank! In fact, you may be able to save a little....

Talk about a phrase that'll stick! He's just not that into you is one that burns when it's thrown in your phase, but SOMETIMES it's just the truth and frankly, it's the best thing you can hear, once you HEAR IT. Women are constantly putting up with dating men and making terrible excuses for their bad behavior, and in turn- dating men WAY below their standard. Though, SHE'S just not that into you could apply also, men are just usually a bit more tricky.....in my opinion. So, from the hit b...

The Urban Dictionary says a Mooch is; A scab or freeloader who comes to your house uninvited and overstays his welcome (For more than about 3 days) and proceeds to eat all your food, stink up your bathroom, take all your drugs and just generally leech all the blood from your body during their stay. Hm, look- we've all had mooch-y moments and with the economy at in the midst of a "rough patch" mooching isn't a bad idea....it's simply financially shrewd? Or so you could say. Here's how to s...
