You know you're going to give your kid a complex if you call them "The Mean Bean" instead of; sweetiepie, sugar face, bear, etc. My nickname stuck- even when I got nicer. AND my affinity for all things BEAN happens to be tremendous; Coffee beans (my coffee feign), Cocoa beans, Vanilla beans, chickpeas (yes, it's a bean), black beans....and so on. As for the "mean" part, depends on which ex-boyfriend you ask. I think I'm super sugary. And no, I will not be writing any guides about beans. Unless I get a special request.

I'm proud of my culture. Very proud. Why? BECAUSE, I'm ITALIAN. As an Italian woman there are certain sterotypes you simply cannot avoid; i.e. feeding your guests to the point of physical paralysis until the next meal. Everyone loves and Italian girl, from her dark hair and olive skin to her affinity for buying Italian Vogue, just to look at the pictures. Do you love Italian women???

I'm a film junkie. Everything about movies I love. Going to the theater, renting them, watching the previews, talking about them afterwards and the list goes on. I happen to have a very special place in my heart for the art of indie films. For the actors, the cinematography and the story lines. They lend themselves to being more geniune, because they don't have to blow stuff up and have a happy ending to profit, like most blockbusters. Here are some of my favorite, what are yours???

I'm a reality TV junkie. There, I said it. So when this new GEM of a television show came out naturally I had it set on my Tivo to record every episode. When the old stadium in Denver was torn down, my family members where those people that bought their season's seats and now have them in their backyard somewhere. Yes, that was my family. Those crazy people screaming at the players like they know something about coaching. So, as you could imagine with football season on our heels, they're getting excited and for the first time ever, so am I! GO BRONCOS! Who's your team????

I've had my low moments. Who hasn't right? No, I haven't ACTUALLY entered amatuer strip night, and frankly my upper body strength isn't the best. BUT, when in doubt....pole dance it out. Even some celebrities have tried it out. AND, it's a killer work out. If you don't have the pole, a bed post will do. ;) Just don't blame me if it breaks.

I've always been a major fan of fashion- I love it all. I love the odd, sometimes the ugly, the Avant Garde, the trends and the classics. That being said, there's plenty of fashion that downright just doesn't make ANY sense- it's absurd, often unwearable and like what you'll find below, completely bizarre.

The most beautiful thing about flowers is the beauty is fleeting; we enjoy them only for a moment and then it's gone. We plant them, we buy them, we give them simply to enjoy for a period of time and then they're gone. Flowers are in full bloom and bees are buzzing about this summer, so before it's too late take some time to "smell the roses" or at least frolick in them. Frolicking is my favorite.

I've never collected anything. In fact, I don't really understand the whole "collection" thing, because it seems like a facny way of getting away with what could be called; hoarding. Which, I believe is a disease? Hm. That being said, I had a brief moment where I collected Tinkerbell dolls....and I was 7. What do you collect??? Anything bizarre and odd??
