Knitting is tough when you first start out! It took me a while to “get.” I’m more of a crocheter, but I like both. I learned to sew when I was really little (I have one of those moms who is a full-time teacher, never has to sleep and made all of our Halloween costumes), and I have recently been getting back into sewing. Bags and simple things, but I’m trying to make my own patterns along the way. I have always wanted to visit Austin! I will definitely put your shop on my list should I ever make it that way! And if you need NYC crafty place suggestions, lemme know!

aliciak, thanks for the shout. I just started knitting in Feb. needless to say I pretty much suck bu everyone is very nice when they get something. I love to sew and quilt, so I quilte my job and opened a store, God Bless me. My daughter and I are headed to NY during her first break at college in the fall. I can not believe I am old enough to have a college student. hope to hear from you again. Jess
