Downtown Detroit...
Took a trip to Detroit to attend a conference...Bus can take you from airport to downtown for $1.50 as opposed to the $45 you'll pay for a taxi!

Perhaps THE most agonizing decision I have made and made and made and reassessed continually is WHERE to send my kids to school... So much to consider... Social environment Curriculum Teachers Location School Size What does my kid think? The lovely thing about Colorado is you can drive for 2-4 hours each day and hit some AMAZING places. These are my favorites...I took this road trip on my own with my two kiddos (aged 2 and 3.5 years at the time). We camped at whatever was available (KOAs, National Parks, etc...). Sometimes we did 2 or 3 sites each day and other places, we stayed for a whole day....Lots of hot springs swimming pools included in this tour...

My good friend got married at a saloon in Blanca, CO; crazy, but true... They let us play Tibetan music and bought us a round of drinks...It was major coolio! If you're getting married in Colorado, think OUTSIDE the box...Here are a few places I've either attended weddings or been married myself...Not telling which is which!

A fun and exercise filled afternoon...A) Go have coffee at Perk Hill, then B) Head back to City Floral to buy flowers to plant, and finally C) pick up a pizza to bake for dinner...afterwards...... in the hottub together... <3

Here's a way to save your favorite Youtube videos without having to sign into YouTube...this is especially helpful if you work at a place where they are blocking sites that are "social networking" oriented, especially ones that appeal to teens...Now, if I can just use this to work around the "myspace" blocking....hmmmm
