About Me
I'm the grandniece & biographer of Chas. N. Daniels, the ragtime era composer & publisher who helped Scott Joplin (The King of Ragtime) promote his first published rag in 1899. As I show at the piano, my “Uncle Charlie” composed some great rags himself plus wonderful hits like "Sweet and Lovely" & "She's Funny That Way." I always add a little history to the toe-tapping music I perform; I often write for vintage music publications (e.g., Arcadia's "Images of America - DETROIT Ragtime & the Jazz Age"). Go to CDBaby to hear samples from my CDs.

Hi ngb! I’m Matt, one of the Gambassadors here on Guidespot. Welcome! Awesome to have something of a celebrity as part of the Guidespot community. You’ve got a great first start to your guide, so keep it going! How about a few pics, more locations? If you have any questions, or need help, just let me know!
