About Me

I grew up in Littleton, Colorado and now I live in Chicago. I miss the mountains but don't miss middle school. I'm a writer, I like novels, particularly Nick Hornby or Bret Easton Ellis-style ones, and I am absolutely obsessed with crime/detective shows. I love dogs and babies and think the Geico commercials are adorable. I've never been an avid sports fan but have become a runner and somewhat of an athlete somewhere along the way. The best places I've ever been are Paris, Dublin and Costa Rica, and places I still want to go include Prague, Africa and Australia. I am really not a people person but I'm often called "sweet" and you'll usually see me smiling. I really think that things happen for a reason and I would definitely consider myself a bit of a hedonist. Oh, and I hate cinnamon.
