It goes down to top ten finalist then people around the country get to vote for them, the top 3 win different amounts for themselves and their schools.

Well for the mother nature father time I know excatly how much it cost those two are my best friends and I was there pretty much every step of the way and we totalled roughly 250 in duck tape for both outfits, this includes some retaping we did after finding some new colors. Others that we met at the duck tape fest spent about the same maybe a lil more.
