About Me
I am still haunted by memories of middle school. I reflexively despise cheerleaders, for instance. Actually, anyone who is sweet and peppy.

You haven't driven until you've driven in Seattle. Seattlites know how to combine passive aggression, flakiness, Vitamin D deficiency, and sexual frustration into a teeming package of idiocy on wheels. It's not ENTIRELY our fault, though - city planners have put together a series of roads that could make a Buddhist monk go ballistic from frustation.

Craigslist is one of the best indicators of how people in a certain area of the world feel about themselves and their stuff. For instance, I've found that Seattlites have a ridiculously inflated idea of how good-looking they (and their belongings) are. Because I'm not drunk enough (yet) to go through and demean personal ads, here are some WFT items from Craigslist For Sale ads. What's some of the fugliest furniture you've found on Craiglist?

Have you ever loved the smell of something so much that you wished it came in a perfume form so that you could always smell like it? I have. Strangely enough, some perfumers obliged, and I've listed some of those oddities here. If you could have a perfume of any scent, what would it be?

There are very few things that upset me more than robots. Some people really care about world hunger, or child abuse, but me? Robots. Not just any robot, though - robots with emotions. I know, I know, everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I can't think of anything more tragic than artificial intelligence that has learned to FEEL. Read on for my stunning, flawless arguments as to why feeling robots make me cry.

Oh, that's right, bitches. Sure, we all know how adorable Asian women are, but Asian men have been largely relegated to supporting roles in the world of love. That's all changing. Never considered dating an Asian guy? Consider it now.

Although there is still a portion of the world that doesn't like to think about menstruation, the fact is that we icky girls bleed on a regular basis. In the US, aAdvertisements for feminine products, as they are known, traditionally fall into two categories: the ones that show you how much blue fluid a diaper-like pad can soak up (so you won't bleed through your pants and embarrass yourself), and the ones that convince you that you won't feel like you are wearing a diaper, because then boys ...

There's a theory that fat bottom girls make the rockin' world go 'round. I'm not entirely sure about that, but it is entirely possibly that our butt cheeks affect the tides in some way or another. Here, your guide to an appreciation of large booty.

It's a fairly well-known missive that "Ironic", a 1990s paeon to moping by Canadian Alanis Morisette, is not actually about "irony" at all. In fact, not a single lyrical snippet in the entire song can be construed as irony. Let's deconstruct this little ditty, shall we?

Given the Chinese popluation in the Seattle metro area, you would think that real Chinese food would be easy to come by. Alas, so many established Chinese eateries in the area are pale imitation of the kind of cuisine you might actually eat in the Middle Kingdom. It took me several years to find the good Chinese eateries in Seattle. Here are a few for your dining enjoyment.

Easily overlooked, sometimes mistaken with the OTHER Eastlake (Sammamish), this neighborhood, sandwiched between I-5 and Lake Union, is my locale. Here are some of the highlights that make this sliver of a neighborhood a great place to live.

Rain City gets a bum rap for being a..., well, a rainy city. Oh, sure, New York gets more rain per annum blah blah blah. Shut up. Seriously, I've lived in New York. They get some flash flooding and crap, but nothing like the constant drizzle that experience throughout 3 of our 4 seasons. Hey, I'm not complaining. All kinds of great things grow in a moist environment.
