Formed in 1902, Green Bluff Growers is a collection of local farmers that operate independently but work together to preserve their local agricultural community. Visitors to the area can head to one of more than 30 different farms, each selling its own goods, including fruits, vegetables, flowers and wines. Many of the farms offer u-pick opportunities, allowing visitors to select their own produce straight from the vine before purchasing; an activity highly popular with children. Located about 13 miles northeast of Spokane, most of the farms are open between the months of May and September, though some are open year round and others during the winter season.
