Popular with bicyclists, joggers and pedestrians with dogs, Arkansas River Trail is a top-notch destination for fitness and fun. Imagined as a multi-purpose recreational path with more than 24 miles of trails, the Arkansas River Trail starts from Riverfront Park in downtown Little Rock and travels as far northwest as Pinnacle Mountain State Park. The trail also loops over the water to Cooks Landing, running back south to North Little Rock and again across the water, affording a scenic 14-mile loop.
