Surrounded by mountain scenery, the New River Zoo offers visitors the chance to get an up-close view of 60 different species of mammals, birds and reptiles, including endangered species such as the black leopard and ring-tailed lemur. The zoo is located south of Jefferson in the town of Fleetwood.
