Hope Acres Robotic Dairy Farm is, as the name might suggest, a fully mechanized dairy farm. Visitors may tour the place, seeing and petting the animals, and observing them get pampered, fed, and milked by robotic milking machines, mechanical back scratchers, a climate controlled barn, and other innovative technological developments. Tours end with a free scoop of homemade ice cream, and there is a restaurant on the premises for those looking to dine. The farm lies about 40 miles north of Baltimore, near Apollo County Park.
