Opened in 1964, the Center of Science and Industry is considered one of the country's most highly respected not-for-profit science centers. Visited by over 17 million guests, the COSI provides opportunities for all ages to learn about science through over 300 hands-on exhibits on such topics as the ocean, gadgets and space exploration. The center also hosts traveling exhibitions throughout the year, puts on several live shows and houses a seven-story Extreme Screen Theater. The Center of Science and Industry is located minutes from Dodge Park in downtown Columbus.
