Lincoln Park's 1,208 acres sprawl along the western shore of Lake Michigan, providing miles of exercise paths, courts for tennis and volleyball, a golf course and relaxing beaches. A number of popular attractions reside within the park, including the Peggy Notebart Nature Museum, the Lincoln Park Conservatory and the Lincoln Park Zoo, as do a number outdoor sculptures in the likenesses of historic figures. Some of the city's most desirable residential spaces are in the neighborhood of the same name, which sits directly west of the park and a few miles north of downtown Chicago.
