The Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art features an outstanding collection including works by such luminaries as Georgia O'Keeffe and Robert Mapplethorpe. The museum is located north of the University of Missouri-St. Louis campus, near the Kansas City Art Institute. Also featured at the museum are several large outdoor sculptures, including the whimsically sad "Crying Giant" by Tom Otterness.
