Renowned as one of the best ski mountains in the nation, Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is a beautiful, challenging mountain, filled with fun activities year-round. During the ski season, the mountain offers some 2,500 acres of skiable terrain, with about 90 runs suitable for all skill levels but especially friendly to intermediate and advanced-level skiers and snowboarders. Summer visitors can participate in activities ranging from hiking and mountain biking to fly fishing, horseback riding and river rafting. It is located near Alta Ski Area, about 25 miles southeast of downtown Salt Lake City.
