Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a 140-acre refuge for orphaned and injured animals, educates visitors about Alaska’s indigenous wildlife and provides the opportunity to view grizzly bears, elk, bald eagles and Great Horned Owls in their natural habitats. It is located at the southern edge of Turnagain Arm and the entrance to Portage Valley. During spring and summer, visitors can get the chance to see the rehabilitation of orphaned baby animals.

Adults $7.50; Seniors (55+) and Children (4-12) $5.
