This place is definitely a must-see when you travel to Washington DC. Experience the history of flight and airplanes in the US. There are some truly exceptional exhibits that shouldn’t be missed when you are here including: the Wright Brothers’ Flyer, Charles Lindbergh’s Spirit of St. Louis, many different WWI and WWII airplanes and of course, Apollo 11, and the model of the Enterprise from the famous Star Trek movies. Make sure that you catch a flick at the Lockheed Martin IMAX Theater while you are here as well.
