The Historic Stanley Hotel is probably best known for its role as the haunted house in Stanley Kubrick's adaptation of "The Shining". The hotel sits in the shadow of Prospect Mountain, just across the highway from the Lake Estes Golf Course. Now renovated, the hotel offers 138 rooms and almost 16,000 square feet of conference and event space.
