The Milwaukee Public Museum is Wisconsin's largest natural and cultural history museum, boasting three floors of exhibits including "Africa," "Asia" and "Streets of Old Milwaukee." Some of these areas focus upon natural phenomena and evolutionary history, like "Bugs Alive!," containing live insects from around the globe, while others explore human history, like the archaeological findings displayed in "Pre-Columbian Americas." It also features an IMAX theater and has hosted many famous touring exhibits like "Body Worlds" and "Messenger of Friendship," a stunning Japanese friendship doll. The museum is located near downtown, just blocks northeast of Marquette University and close to the Bradley Center.
