The Johnson County Museums include the Museum of History, Lanesfield School and the 1950s All-Electric House each exploring a different aspect of the state's history. The museums are located in and around the Kansas City area. The 1950s All-Electric House offers a peek into the zany technology of the 1950s, including electric curtain openers and "moon glow" lighting.
