Description

The Fort Collins Museum strives to showcase the colorful history of both the area and its inhabitants, starting with the Paleolithic Indians who roamed these plains 10,000 years ago. Housed in a former 1904 public library funded by the industrialist Andrew Carnegie, the museum has significant information in its library and archives when the military outpost and town were founded during the late 1800s.
