Description

The Iowa State Historical Building allows its visitors to peer into the history of the state by using a series of state-of-the-art exhibits. These interactive exhibits include "Portrait of a Governor", artifacts and information on those who served the state as governor, and "Iowa Medal of Honor Heroes", a beautiful area that tracks the lives and deeds of the 108 Iowan citizens who have been awarded the Medal of Honor.
