Van Briggle Art Pottery, renowned by collectors the world over, originated in Colorado Springs in 1899 and is now the oldest active art potteries in the United States. The gallery is located west of downtown near Bott Park. Artus Van Briggle and his wife first created the beautiful pottery, now nearly a hundred years after their deaths, their work is continued by a handful of gifted artisans.
