Description
Established in 1882, the aptly titled Country Club was America's very first club devoted solely to "the pursuit of outdoor activities." Initially designed for horseriding, ice skating, and other sports, the Club's golf facilities were put in rather haphazardly, and so feature some of the smallest greens and most unique layouts in the world. This oddly beautiful, historic course lies about eight miles west of downtown Boston, across from Larz Anderson Park.
