Description

Turtle River State Park occupies more than 780 acres along the burbling Turtle River, where many rainbow trout swim freely. Naturally, fishing is a popular activity in the park's beautiful wooded valley, as is camping, picnicking, hiking, and cross-country skiing. The park lies next to the state border, near the Grand Forks Air Force Base.
