Promoting individual enrichment through folk and ethnic music, The Ark is a fun, family-friendly venue in which to catch shows by local and nationally-known performers. Occasionally, Open Stage events take place, where anyone can sign up for the chance to be randomly selected for eight minutes in the spotlight. The venue is a few blocks west of the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor campus, near the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce building.
