Vail Resorts is known as one of the highest-quality and most luxurious ski areas in the nation. With 5,289 skiable acres, 193 trails, and 34 lifts, Vail is also the largest single mountain resort and has been awarded numerous top places in the categories of best ski resort, customer service and ski safety. During the summer visitors can take a scenic gondola ride, hike up the mountain or bike down one of the mountain's designated trails. The resort is located in the wealthy mountain town of Vail, which includes a number of lodging and recreational options throughout the year.

We didn’t get a chance to try out Vail’s ski school. I have heard good things about it. When I was a kid I took lots of lessons here.
I think this winter we will make a weekend of Vail.

Hands-down the best skiing in Colorado! There’s a reason the Colorado Pass limits you to 10 days at Vail/Beaver Creek.
You can’t go wrong here. If it’s your first time to Vail be sure to watch out for the catwalks—keep up your speed and ditch your snowboarder friends as they get stuck.
Check out the picture of “Steep and Deep” below. Powder days take on a whole new meaning at Vail.
Be forewarned: if you want to park anywhere reasonably close it’s going to be upwards of $15 no matter what. Pack a lunch and save some bucks.
